Ukulele
The ukulele made with Hawaii koa has a more prominent high frequency based on the gentle sound similar to mahogany, which is quite valued in the industry. Overall, the Hawaii koa sounds very good, with silky high frequencies and prominent mid frequencies. Compared with other woods, its fundamental tone is stronger and the amplitude is smaller, and the timbre will gradually appear with the playing time. Due to the particularity of the manufacturing process of the neck (need to ensure that the drilling will not be deformed), the Okoume material is generally used. The strings are mostly nylon strings, which have strong flexibility and long echo period, which also makes the ukulele's timbre unique.
