Materials commonly used in ukulele

It is recognized that the most suitable material for making ukulele is Hawaiian acacia, light brown, beautiful wood grain, and high-end flame-like grain.

But Hawaiian acacia has been banned from logging, making its price extremely expensive, so the current mainstream production materials are still relatively large: mahogany, Taiwan acacia, etc., and the quality of the sound of the piano is really dominated by craftsmanship , Hawaii is expensive, or it is rare, so don't blindly believe in wood, good wood is very important, but craftsmanship is more critical.

More manufactured wood, ukulele is divided into three grades: full single, face single, plywood

Full single: the wood is made of a whole piece of solid wood, although the cost is high, but the sound performance is the best.

Plywood: The production of wood is made by pressing multiple pieces of wood. Although the sound is slightly worse, the cost is lower.

Surface sheet: The wood is made of a mix of solid wood and plywood, which is a relatively compromised choice.
