I’ve played quite a bit since I bought it and I’m extremely happy with it. It resonates wonderfully with a beautiful, clear tone on all notes no matter how I’m playing! I play using many different styles, everything from soft, sweet strumming to hard and heavy percussive playing and every note rings out and resonates wonderfully. I do get an occasional buzz on the low string during rougher playing, but that is likely due to the fact that I took the floor model(I am particular and wanted the specific guitar I played) and I have yet to change the strings. So happy I found this beautiful guitar!
This is an amazing model, apparently the first cutaway design, it certainly separates itself from the rest. Was there science or imagination that developed the design? Who knows, but what one has here is an experiment in progressions, a possible missing link to reviving lutes and ouds.
An ‘Open G’ tuning can approximate the seven string, and a bit of adjustment takes you to the Turkish Oud, but both somehow too low. Then when you return to standard tuning, you have this serious dedicated sound from a super guitar.
The strength of the materials make for ‘high and tight’, but the acoustics could easily project nylon.
