I own several high-quality guitars, including instruments from well-known Spanish luthiers. I received the SC093FD a few weeks ago, and it has impressed me in almost every aspect. Here’s my personal assessment:
GENEREL EVALUATION
– Intonation: 10/10
Perfectly set up. Notes ring clearly and accurately across the entire fingerboard without any intonation issues.
– Craftsmanship: 10/10
Flawless workmanship – clean joints, precisely set frets, and an impeccable finish.
– Wood Selection: 10/10
Outstanding tonewoods, both visually beautiful and acoustically rich and resonant.
– Tuning Machines: 7/10
Functional, but not on the same high level as the rest of the instrument. A higher-end set would be more fitting – but
easily replaceable.

SOUND EVALUATION
– Projection: 10/10
The guitar projects beautifully – powerful and present even at lower dynamic levels.
– Balance: 9.5/10
Very even across all registers. Only slight differences between bass and treble – almost perfectly balanced.
– Attack: 9/10
Quick and responsive attack – strong without being harsh. Excellent for expressive playing.
– Decay: 9/10
Notes sustain clearly and fade naturally. The decay is well controlled and musical.

Overall Sound Impression (subjective): 9/10
The action is around 4.3 mm – slightly high for my personal taste, but still acceptable for classical technique.

CONCLUSION
Aside from the tuning machines, the SC093FD is a highly precise and expertly built guitar.
It offers a powerful, clear, and expressive tone, paired with top-tier craftsmanship.
I’m very pleased with this instrument and already looking forward to trying a model from Yulong Guo.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a professional-level concert guitar.
