I purchased the TRG-10BC Brass Cutaway Parlour Single-Cone Resonator. I own a 1937 National Trojan Single-Cone which is a wood body resonator but wanted a metal body style as well and the Aiersi was selling at a very affordable price compared to other options. The guitar arrived in just over two weeks to my home in Australia. It was packed in a cardboard box, wrapped in bubble wrap, inside it’s hard case, and then wrapped in bubble wrap again. The case compartment contained a cleaning cloth, two picks, a guitar strap and case strap. The body was indeed brass as I checked with a magnet which did not stick. There were no flaws or damage to the body or neck. The neck was straight and I am satisfied with the setup and action. I am currently playing in Open C tuning and I am impressed with this guitar’s tone. Compared to my Trojan the Aiersi is louder, more mellow and warm. This is a consequence I suppose of the brass body and the fact that my National cone is 83 years old and has some small holes from corrosion which aluminium is prone to. However my Trojan has its own vintage sound that I love and do not wish to change. I am very happy with my purchase and would consider purchasing a brass-bodied Tri-cone from Aiersi in the future. Recommended. Purchased guitar February 2019.
Here is my new Aiersi Parlour Single-Cone next to my 1937 National Trojan. Both great resonators.
It comes perfectly packed, shipping has been very fast and in the sound test a 10, the best price quality ratio. The best buy
YEs, Jeff,
I am having the same good luck with my brass tricone resonator from Aierisi.
The sound of the guitar is nice and even for the price. It beats many guitars of the same price range. The action is nice and playable.
Thank you,
Alex Norton
I would say it is simply comfortable to play.
